Schedule – Readings for the week of July 1 (Psalms 36 – 77)

First of all, an important milestone.  We’re officially halfway through the year, and thus halfway through the Bible!  Congratulations to all of you who’re reading consistently, you’re halfway to one of the greatest accomplishments a Christian can achieve:  a complete reading of the Holy scriptures in one year!  Keep up the good work!

This week we continue to explore the poetry of the Psalms.  Note how many of them explore the varied emotions we face in life.  Not just the joy and hopefulness, but anger, despair, pain, loneliness and guilt.  It really is possible to worship God and be heard by Him no matter how you’re feeling or what you’re going through.  There is no bad time to give God praise.
