Schedule – Readings for the week of Aug 5 (Isaiah 22 – 57)

First off, apologies for the delay in getting this week’s schedule out, as well as some of the late posts over the past week.  The summer is always a challenging time to publish these devotionals, especially when it’s a long weekend!

This week we continue with the book of Isaiah.  As you see God’s complaint against Israel and Isaiah’s petitioning on his people’s behalf to spare them God’s wrath, do you see any parallels between Ancient Israel then and the modern Christian Church now?  Something to contemplate as you study.
